‘So Often we become so focused on the finish line that we fail to enjoy the journey’ – Dieter F Uchtdorf
I find myself doing this often. I wake up and immediately I have 10-15 things that needs to get done. It seems like there just aren’t enough hours in the day. I get so focused on the rush of the day and I forget to just sit back and thank God that I have a day to get to. I’m slowly starting to slow down and appreciate the things that I do have and those things that are going well for me before immediately rattling on my never ending to do list. To just sit back and enjoy this moment, if only for 5 minutes, helps to calm my mind and focus on those things that are important and those things that I am overly stressing about. Constant reminder not to rush life but to just let it happen organically.
